There is 2 types of methods we can noticed, 1. moisture content determination through karl fischer reagent using,2. loss on drying.

in K.f method we can determine the moisture content present in given sample. (on wet basis)

in LOD we can get the moiety content on dried basis.

by using moisture balance we can also determine moisture content.

KF apparatus calibration is done by water, diSodium edetate.
